The Sunset Experience at Sonara Camp

Sonara Sunset Camp is the perfect place to experience the magic of the Arabian desert. The elegant, eco-friendly, camp is set in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, which is home to indigenous flora and fauna, as well as oryxes and gazelles.

There are several experiences to choose from, including The Sunset Experience, The Dinner Experience, The Sunset & Dinner Experience, and even the option to stay overnight at The Nest.

The Sunset Experience is a perfect way to explore the majestic desert at golden hour. As a late afternoon / early evening experience, it’s ideal for families and younger children.

Your Sunset Experience begins with a gentle drive across the desert to camp, where you can watch the sun set over the dunes from the Sonara Camp Lounge from 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM. Enjoy appetisers and soft drinks, as well as a range of unique activities such as sand boarding, volleyball, soft archery and camel rides.

Why enter camp in a 4×4 which you can arrive true Bedouin style on a camel at an additional cost of AED 300 per person, 2 guests per camel.

Getting There

Located in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve Margham Gate Dubai – Al Ain Rd

Drive yourself to the gate and you will be met by our team at your pre-reserved time.

Or choose our private chauffeur service to pick you up from your home or hotel to the gate at an additional cost. The driver will be available all evening and will drive you home.
